Day three

late breakfast on balcony

French toast and boiled eggs

jumping on bed with music on

shopping spree in the afternoon

tomato pasta and fresh veggies topped with yogurt

salted caramel ice cream, another strawberry one

pleasures that keep us fine

punching pillows when angry

talking and crying and hugging,

connecting.

long shower and the scent of untangling fresh hair spray

calling family members

unboxing more stuff and making our flat a home

reading books in bed while looking at the stars on the roof

watching cute animals through mobile screen

cuddling before they close their eyes putting an end to another good day

that is life, this us learning and living

this is us existing. 

this is the good old days.
